A Sinking Feeling

After reading the great adventure Chip, Biff, Wilma, and Wilf  had in the pool,
we draw the sequence of the story read in class in four pieces of paper.

Definitely, drawing, colouring and talking about each part was really funny.

We had a great time reading "A Sinking Feeling".

Our First Dictations

This term, kids will be evaluated through a new way: Dictations!!!

It will be a piece of cake!

Miss Milady as well as Miss Maya have done beautiful lexical cards in which you can see all the words we have learnt in class. Every time you look up the smartboard, you will see them in bright colours.


During dictations I'll say a word, and you will look at the board, and copy it on a sheet of paper.


It will be awesome!

Praying Time

This week, Bear cubs as well as Hares colored and cut out three pieces of cardboard through which they expressed in which situations they would ask God to help them, or for what they may be thankful, or what is great in their lives.
We had a lot of fun making their hangers!

The Good Samaritan

This week we'll watch part of the video of "The Good Samaritan". It will be great for children to notice and point out that it is good to help those in need, even if this person is an enemy or someone you may not like. Now you can watch all the video at home with your parents and friends. Have a great time learning how important is to help others!

Family Vocabulary

In Social Studies, children learnt some family vocabulary such as: mother, father, brother, sister, grandpa and grandma. 

They have watched this and other cute videos about this fabulous topic: The family.

Learning the /j/

This is the sound we have practised this week, let's sing it together having in mind how delicious jelly and jam are!
